Account Settings
Manage your VariantLab account settings, including your profile, password, and preferences.
Accessing Settings
Click your avatar in the top-right corner, then select Settings. Or navigate directly to Settings > Account.
Profile Settings
Avatar
Your profile picture appears in the app header, the sharing dialog, and member lists.
To upload:
- Click the avatar circle in Account Settings
- Select an image file
- Your avatar updates immediately
To remove: Click the delete icon on the avatar to revert to your initials.
Display Name
Your display name appears in:
- The app header
- Account settings
- Support communications
To change:
- Enter a new name in the Display Name field
- Click Save Changes
Email
Your email is used for:
- Account login
- Password reset
- Purchase receipts
- Important notifications
Email cannot be changed directly. Contact support if you need to update it.
Password
Setting a Password
If you signed up with a social login (Google), you may not have a password set.
To set a password:
- Click Set Password (shown if no password exists)
- Enter your new password
- Confirm the password
- Click Set Password
Changing Your Password
To change an existing password:
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm the new password
- Click Update Password
Password Requirements
- Minimum 8 characters
- Include at least one letter and one number (recommended)
- Avoid common passwords
Theme
Toggle between light and dark mode:
- Dark mode (default) - Easier on the eyes for extended use
- Light mode - Better in bright environments
Your preference is saved automatically.
Account Actions
Sign Out
Click Sign Out to log out of your account. You'll be redirected to the login page.
Delete Account
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be lost.
To delete your account:
- Click Delete Account
- Confirm by typing your email
- Click Delete Permanently
Deleted data includes:
- All projects
- All generated images
- Unused Mana credits
- Account history
